Hello, my name is Anna Thunstedt, mother of two wonderful boys and inventor of the Easy-Zip™ Nursing Bra.

After my first son was born I became very frustrated by not being able to find a comfortable and functional nursing bra. My breasts tended to leak, which left me feeling cold and damp, especially in my cotton bra; but I was particularly frustrated while trying to close the bra with one hand. I was determined to make a nursing bra that could be easily opened and closed with one hand without using hooks, buckles or snaps, but at the same time was soft, supportive and dried quickly.

Through trial and error, I came up with the solution of using a zipper because it provided a very easy way to open and close the cups with one hand. Next, I searched around the globe to find the perfect fabric that was quick drying and provided maximum comfort. My search yielded a high-tech fabric that dries quickly, is very soft, yet supportive; and allows flexibility for the changing size of breasts without putting pressure on sensitive milk ducts.

I worked for over two years with midwifes, lactation consultants, maternity hospitals and hundreds of breastfeeding mothers before perfecting the Easy-Zip Nursing Bra by AnnaCecilia®. By the time my second son was born, I was using the new Easy-Zip Nursing Bra, and enjoyed every moment of it.
